I arrived in Brisbane at around 9am. Unfortunately I couldn't check into my hostel until 2pm so I couldn't catch up on my sleep. Instead I decide to go to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary that was located a few km outside the city of Brisbane.
There were koalas everywhere. They were over 100 around. I was able to hold one and have a photo taken. It was totally worth it! This sanctuary also had an area for kangaroos, wallabies and emus. They're all out in the open for you to pet and feed. It's definitely an experience I recommend to everyone.
